"Muhammad Nehal Akhtar is a Mechanical engineer from NUST. He also has a master's degree in Nuclear Power Engineering from PIEAS. He is passionate about startups and strongly believes that successful local startups can bring much-needed change in Pakistan. He joined Sahara iO as Head of Product Development. He worked on iO Alpha as well as the three prototypes of a locally made Electric wheelchair. He played a vital role in continuing company operations when the Company decided to Pivot from Research and development of orthoses to an assistive devices services company. He was promoted to Director and since then he has worked as Chief Operating Officer of the company. He is a cofounder of two other startups "Farmse" and "Espace" which aim to provide affordable fresh food produce to end consumers by improving food supply chain efficiency and provision of affordable housing for the general population through the use of real-time data and innovative financing models. He also likes traveling, exploring nature, and reading about sustainable infrastructure development. "

His journey in the professional landscape commenced after graduating from CUST in 2014, where he embarked on a career in the pharmaceutical sector. Recognizing the importance of efficient supply chain management, he pursued and completed his Master's in Supply Chain Management from Bahria University. Since 2019, he has been serving Sahara IO.
With a solid foundation in supply chain management and finance, his role encompasses ensuring the accessibility and delivery of high-quality mobility products and services. Muhammad Ali holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from UMT, Lahore. His professional journey has just begun with Sahara iO as a Sales Representative of Sahara iO in Lahore. Previously, he had the experience of successfully setting up a restaurant in Multan and a dairy farm as well. A very passionate person committed to achieving organizational goals while continuously developing his skills and knowledge.
